STEVE BIKO ANNIVERSARY 12 SEPTEMBER 2014
Today marks the anniversary of the murder of Freedom Fighter Steve Biko by the apartheid security police. The public would have believed that Biko committed suicide, after two doctors were paid to lie in their reports. Five brazen doctors forced that Truth be told…
South Africa ranks high on the list of most corrupt countries, because money and wealth rules the law: the men with the gold lay down the rules…
Given time – and after enough bucks has changed hands - the right of eminent domain will ensure that the murderers of a honeymoon bride will be set free, the rapist who murdered his sister and parents will come away with a minimum sentence, and the murderer of his girlfriend will carry on with a normal life.
In any event, all lawyers are comrades out of court, and play into each other’s hands.
I once asked a group of law students if they would stand for Truth. Their retort: “No sir, we stand for money”. Filthy lucre!
